Kroměříž

What began in 1913 as the hockey section of SK Haná, opening with a match against Hanácká Slavia Olomouc, was rebuilt as SK Kroměříž in 1918, folded into TJ Slavoj to become TJ Slavia Kroměříž in the 1960s, and later renamed TJ Spartak Kroměříž. In 1993 the club bought the league licence of VTJ Vyškov and took the name HC Haná VTJ Kroměříž, reaching the 2. Liga and finishing fourth in 2001/02 — still its best result there. The current name, HK Kroměříž, was adopted in 2000.

Martin Jenáček started his senior career here in 1993/94 and 1994/95, before the club changed its name again, and went on to win the Extraliga with Zlín in 2003/04; his brother Luboš also came through the same Kroměříž sides.
