Majantja

Twice, Majantja FC has climbed to the top of Lesotho's football pyramid, and both times the wait between them ran into decades. The first came in 1970–71, the opening season of the national Premier League itself, and the second arrived in 1994–95, a title still regarded at the club as its finest hour. Each championship carried the same reward: a place in the African Cup of Champions Clubs, in 1972 and again in 1996.

Between those peaks the club has spent long stretches rebuilding. A 14th-place finish in 2018–19 sent them down, and promotion has had to be earned twice more since through the second-tier A-Division Southern Stream, won in 2016–17 and again in 2023–24. Founded in 1932, Majantja were among the clubs that formed the Basutoland Sports Association, the body that grew into the Lesotho Football Association, which places their history alongside the game's earliest organised years in the country.

The club plays in blue and red, and its squads have supplied players to the Lesotho national team over the years, though no individual name has stood out enough in the record to be singled out. Home games are played at the DIFA Ground in Mohale's Hoek, a tight setup holding around 1,000 people.
