Peter Åslin's number 35 hangs retired at Roslagens Sparbank Arena.

Nothing since had matched that until 2024/2025, when Norrtälje started the season in Division 3 and worked its way to a promotion the club had never held before: a place in Hockeyettan. The route there was unusual. Norrtälje's playoff opponent, Järfälla HC, withdrew from the deciding tie over travel costs and logistics rather than concede on the ice, and Norrtälje took the spot on offer. Whatever the manner of it, the team lines up in Hockeyettan Norra for 2025/2026, red, yellow and black on a rink built for barely a thousand spectators.

Local rivalries have grown around that same small footprint of the Roslagen area, with Järfälla and Lidingö Vikings the names most often mentioned, though none of it carries an official derby tag. The club's reach beyond Norrtälje owes more to individuals than to titles: Eddie Läck went from this ice to the Vancouver Canucks, Niklas Andersson moved from the blue line into the coach's role, and on the women's side Sabina Küller has worn the Swedish national team's jersey. It is still Åslin's number that stays out of circulation at the arena, the one honour the club keeps for itself rather than for the league table.
