The senior side has spent recent years finding its level: three seasons in the Second Handball League South preceded a return to the top flight after 2023/24, where a 9th-place finish gave way to 11th the following year. Steadier ground has come from below. The under-16 side won back-to-back national titles in 2021/22 and 2022/23, and the under-13s added another in 2023/24 — a run that owes something to the coaching foundation Antun Pavlović laid between 1994 and 2001, when he trained a generation of players who went on to define the club.

Two of them carried the Sinj name into the national team: Vesna Milanović-Litre won 104 caps as a pivot, and Iva Milanović-Litre followed her onto Croatia's left back position. The club has kept producing players who move on to wear other countries' colours too, among them Matea Pletikosić, capped for Montenegro.

Home games are played in front of 300 seats at most, in a hall built for a town rather than a league. It is a modest setting for a club that got through the 1990s war years intact and kept fielding teams through it, which is where its history, and its rivalries with the neighbouring Dalmatian sides, first took root.
