Tyringe SoSS

Jan Sjödin left Tyringe SoSS in 1990, returned in 2001, and stayed at the blue line until 2006. When his playing days ended he didn't leave the club at all, moving straight onto the coaching staff.

The club began on 17 December 1936 as the Tyringe Ski and Skating Society, and ice hockey only arrived in the mid-1940s, brought in after invitations from clubs in Malmö. By 1988 Tyringe SoSS had climbed to Division I, then the second tier of Swedish hockey, and reached the promotion playoffs for Elitserien that year and again in 1990.

Division 2 Södra B was won in 2015, enough to take Tyringe into Hockeyettan, the third tier. League restructuring and pandemic cancellations dropped them to Hockeytvåan after the 2020/21 season, and it took until 2022/23 to work back into Hockeyettan.

Games against Kristianstad IK are still billed as the Skåne derby, followed by a support group calling itself the BlueFoxes.
