Super Cup (Lithuania) 2026/27

The LFF Supertaurė is an annual single-match football competition in Lithuania, founded in 1995 by the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF). It takes place at the start of the season, typically in February or March. The fixture pits the previous season's A Lyga champion against the Lithuanian Football Cup winner. Under standard rules, if a single club secures both titles—the "double"—the match is cancelled and the Super Cup trophy is awarded automatically to that team. A significant change occurred in 2016 regarding this scenario. When the double is won, the Super Cup is no longer skipped; instead, the league champion faces the league runners-up to ensure a competitive contest. FK Žalgiris stands as the most successful club with nine titles. Other multiple winners include FK Ekranas and FK Sūduva, who each hold four titles, while FBK Kaunas has claimed three or four depending on the method used to count awarded trophies. The competition is viewed as a minor honour and does not provide European qualification spots, distinguishing it from the top-tier A Lyga and the Lithuanian Football Cup, which offers Europa Conference League access. Historical records note several years when the match was not held due to the automatic award rule, including 1997, 1999 through 2001, 2005, 2008, and 2012. Recent sponsorship has seen brands such as Sportland, Betsafe, Optibet, and TOPsport associated with the event. The current holder of the trophy is FK Žalgiris, following their victory in 2025.
