About

The Supercoppa Primavera is an annual Italian football fixture that kicks off the under-20 season. Organised by the Lega Serie A, it brings together the champions of the Campionato Primavera 1 and the victors of the Coppa Italia Primavera. If a single club captures both honours, the league titleholders meet the cup finalists instead. The contest is a single match, hosted at the ground of the league champion, with extra time and penalties deciding the outcome.

Established in 2004, the tournament sits beneath the senior Supercoppa Italiana, offering academy players a chance to compete on a similar stage. While the senior event features first teams, this edition showcases youth talent. The format remains a closed final; there is no promotion or relegation involved in the game itself, though the underlying league sees three teams drop to Primavera 2 following the season.

Juventus, Fiorentina and Roma share the record for most titles, each winning the competition three times. Sassuolo claimed the trophy in 2024, followed by Inter in 2025. The match has been sponsored in recent years by TIMvision, the streaming platform of Telecom Italia. The event serves as a prestigious opener for the Primavera category, providing a distinct showcase separate from the senior super cup. Three teams from the current group—Roma U19, Fiorentina U19, Lecce U19, Internazionale U19, Sassuolo U19 and Cagliari U20—have participated in the league that feeds this final.
