Lazio saw off Ostia-Mare 4-0 in a Club Friendly on Tuesday evening. The hosts took control early and never looked back. To be fair, the result matches what you'd expect from the form on both sides.
The first goal came at nineteen minutes, and here's the thing — you could feel the shift in tempo straight away. Lazio kept pressing without letting the visitors settle. By then, the pattern was set for the afternoon.
A second goal before the break gave the home side breathing room. The visitors managed only two corners all game and never really threatened. At forty-one minutes, the scoreline told the full story.
Things got tighter around the seventy-third minute. Lazio scored again, but then missed a penalty — a moment that could have swung things. They recovered quickly enough, adding a fourth at seventy-nine. By then, there was no doubt about who was playing better.
The statistics don't lie. Sixty-eight per cent possession against thirty-two. Twelve corners to two. The hosts ran the show from start to finish. Many chances went begging, but Lazio took what they needed.
It was a comfortable evening for the home side. The clean sheet adds to a run that's been going well. Four goals and zero conceded — a solid result on paper.
