Samgurali and Dinamo Tbilisi met in the 27th round of the Erovnuli Liga on Saturday evening, with the visitors taking all three points in a 3:2 victory. The result leaves Dinamo second in the table while Samgurali remain seventh after another defeat.
And here's the thing about the opening exchanges — Levan Gegetchkori did not wait long to make his mark. He converted a penalty in the twelfth minute to give Samgurali the lead, but Dinamo responded quickly. Maxime Teixeira equalised just two minutes later before Khalid Doltmurziev restored the away side's advantage before the break. Gegetchkori then completed his brace in the forty-second minute, making it 2:2 at half-time.
By then the pattern was set. Dinamo controlled the tempo after sixty minutes, bringing on Giorgi Kharaishvili and Welton Júnior to shift the game. Nika Ninua, who had picked up a yellow card earlier, scored the winner in the seventy-fourth minute. Samgurali made six substitutions in the closing stages, but could not find another equaliser.
