In the Liga Femenina game on 26 August 2026, Santa Fe Women beat Orsomarso Women 3:0.
Match report
Santa Fe Women defeated Orsomarso 3-0 in a Promotion Group - 1 fixture in the Women's League on 25 August 2026. The hosts controlled proceedings from the opening whistle and never looked threatened. Three goals separated the sides before the hour mark, with the visitors unable to find their footing. And here's the thing about matches like this — they are decided in the first twenty minutes.
Y. Viso opened the scoring in the eleventh minute, capitalising on a defensive error. Orsomarso failed to respond and I. Cortes doubled the advantage just ten minutes later. The visitors came for a cross she never reached, and Santa Fe's defence remained organised. By then the momentum had shifted decisively.
Orsomarso made three changes at the interval — G. Huertas, K. Hernandez and N. Orozco — but the game was already slipping away. The coaching staff will have been looking for something different, but the structure held firm. To be fair, the visitors had shown improvement in their previous encounters.
F. Graterol added a third goal in the seventy-eighth minute, putting any doubt to rest. M. Vergara received a yellow card in the eightieth minute as frustration mounted. Santa Fe continued to dominate possession without urgency, comfortable with their lead.
The result moves Santa Fe further ahead in the Promotion Group standings. Orsomarso's recent form included a 3-0 victory over Deportivo Pasto and a 1-0 win against Real Santander, but this performance highlighted what was missing. By then the gap in quality was evident.
