Mush Menderespor secured a 3-1 victory over Somaspor in the 2. Lig White Group on Sunday. The visitors took control after an early setback and never looked back, moving into the top six on goal difference alone. Somaspor took an unexpected lead in the 26th minute when M. Karaahmet turned the ball into his own net. To be fair, the home side showed energy in the opening exchanges, pressing high and forcing a mistake. I. Yavuz then levelled for the visitors just before the break, firing home in the 35th minute after a patient build-up play.
The second half saw Mush Menderespor take complete control. I. Yavuz struck again in the 81st minute to restore the lead, and E. Asliyuksek added a fourth goal in the 87th minute to seal the result. The visitors camped in the final third once the game opened up, and the home defence struggled to regain shape.
Before kickoff, both teams sat on four points from two games. Somaspor remain eighth while Mush Menderespor move into sixth place on goal difference. The away side's recent form has been inconsistent — they drew 4-4 with Erbaaspor and beat Menemen 4-0 last time out — but they showed composure to see out this result.
