Luis Enrique extends PSG contract to 2030

PSG tied manager Luis Enrique to a deal until 2030 and extended five players, including João Neves and Fabián Ruiz, just before facing Monaco.

Paris St-Germain announced a raft of contract extensions on Friday, tying manager Luis Enrique to the club until 2030 and locking down five members of the squad ahead of the home league fixture against Monaco.

Luis Enrique, 56, signed a three-year extension, with his previous deal due to run out at the end of this season. Since taking charge in July 2023 he has won back-to-back Champions League titles and three Ligue 1 titles, and by kick-off against Monaco he had won 118 of his 178 matches in charge.

João Neves, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu extended their contracts to 2031, while Fabián Ruiz agreed a new deal until 2028. Neves and Pacho had been under contract until 2029, Beraldo until 2028, and the extensions for Mayulu and Ruiz carried greater urgency, since both had been due to run out in the middle of 2027.

In his first two seasons at the club he has already won the Champions League twice, along with seven further trophies.

PSG made the announcement roughly fifteen minutes before kick-off, with the news reaching supporters inside the Parc des Princes before it appeared anywhere else.
