Sasa Zdjelar joins Armenian club Noah
The Serbian midfielder signs with league-leading Noah as a free agent after Sochi and Fakel both failed to complete summer transfer deals for him.
Sasa Zdjelar has moved to Armenian side Noah as a free agent, following the collapse of two separate transfer attempts over the summer.
The 31-year-old Serbian midfielder, formerly of Zenit and CSKA Moscow, left Partizan Belgrade after featuring in 13 matches in the second half of last season, picking up two yellow cards. According to insider Ivan Karpov, he has now signed with Noah, who lead the Armenian championship with 21 points after seven rounds.
Sochi and Fakel had both tried to sign Zdjelar over the summer. Sochi could not complete a deal because of a transfer ban, while Fakel had no space left on their roster list.
