Kvaratskhelia Thanks Sagnol After Georgia Exit
PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia paid tribute to Willy Sagnol following his departure as Georgia head coach, recalling their historic Euro qualification together.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia thanked Willy Sagnol for his time in charge of Georgia after the coach's exit as head coach of the national team.
"Thank you, Willy! We went through a lot together and overcame various difficulties. My team-mates and I fulfilled a childhood dream — we took our country to the European Championship. We managed to do it together with you, and together we became part of that unforgettable story. The joy and the emotions we shared with the Georgian people will always remain a special memory. I want to give you special thanks for this period and for the years we spent together. We will never forget this footballing adventure. I wish you success in the future. We will meet again," Kvaratskhelia wrote.
Kvaratskhelia, a left winger, has scored 19 goals for Paris Saint-Germain since joining in February 2025, and PSG have opened talks to extend his contract to 2030 ahead of the Ballon d'Or ceremony in October, for which team-mate Ousmane Dembélé has named him his pick for the award.
