About the player
Antonio Bosec's most turbulent spell came after his move to Romania. Having built his career steadily through Croatian football, he joined CFR Cluj in the summer of 2025, only for the deal to fall apart within months — the club terminated his contract in September 2025 following a poor showing in a Conference League qualifier against Häcken.
Bosec, born in Zagreb, began at NK Tondach Bedekovčina before joining Inter Zaprešić in 2016. That spell became the backbone of his career: five seasons and 134 appearances, with three goals from the back. In January 2021 he moved on a free transfer to Slaven Belupo, where he stayed until the summer of 2025, adding a further 127 games and a goal to his record.
By February 2026 he had found a new home at HNK Vukovar 1991, and by that summer he had moved on again, to Slovenian side NK Radomlje.
International recognition has so far stopped short of the senior Croatia side. Bosec was capped once for the under-21s in 2017 and once for the under-20s the following year.
