Alec Hugo Deneumostier Ortmann

On loan at Universidad César Vallejo in 2024, the centre-back scored against Always Ready in the Copa Sudamericana — one of 31 appearances he made that year.

Born in Lima and holding both Peruvian and Belgian citizenship, he came through the academy at Esther Grande de Bentín. In 2015 he won the Copa Federación with the club's 1999 age group, and the same year he was nominated for a Noche de Estrellas award for his performances in the schools play-offs with Santa María.

FBC Melgar promoted him to the senior squad in 2018, and he made his debut on 30 May that year. The first seasons were sparing — eight matches in 2018, six in 2019 — before the workload grew: 19 in 2020, 16 in 2021, then 47 across 2022. He added two goals in 22 matches in 2023.

The loan to César Vallejo ended in January 2025, and he returned with the number 5 still his. He played 21 matches and scored once in 2025, and has one appearance in 2026.

Peru have used him at youth level without calling him up to the senior side. He played three matches and scored once for the under-18s at the Copa Mitad del Mundo in 2017, and in 2018 he captained the under-20 team that won an international friendly tournament in Lara, Venezuela. He was named in the squad for the 2019 South American Under-20 Championship but did not play, and later that year trained with the under-23s ahead of the Pan American Games without making the final list.
