Anton Noah Christian Ekeroth

Anton Ekeroth spent his entire youth career at Kalmar FF without making a single senior appearance for the club. He stayed on the books there until 2021, and the club sent him out twice to get him playing: to IFK Berga in 2020, then to Oskarshamns AIK in 2021. Neither spell turned into a route back into the Kalmar first team.

The move that started his senior career proper came in January 2022, when he joined AFC Eskilstuna on a free transfer. He stayed there until August 2023, at which point he left Sweden for the Danish top flight with AC Horsens, who signed him for an undisclosed fee.

His stay in Denmark lasted a year. In August 2024 HamKam paid a reported €300,000 — around 3 million SEK — to bring him to Norway, the first time a club had put a substantial fee on him. He has been at HamKam since.

Ekeroth has yet to win a senior title or an individual award, and there is no record of him being capped at senior level by Sweden. His career so far reads as a steady climb through three national leagues rather than an early breakthrough: released by a club he never played a competitive match for, then playing for Eskilstuna, Horsens and now Hamar.
