About the player
Aldo Kalulu came through the youth ranks at Olympique Lyonnais before working his way into senior football through a run of loans, at Rennes and then Sochaux, where he scored 11 goals in 31 appearances. That spell at Sochaux proved decisive: he returned there permanently in 2021 after a three-year stint at Basel, and went on to score 15 goals in 76 appearances before leaving as a free agent.
He joined Partizan in July 2023 on a three-year contract and made his debut against TSC in the Serbian SuperLiga just over a week later. Across roughly 52 matches in Belgrade he scored four goals, enough to keep him in the side before he moved on to Nantong Zhiyun in China in 2025.
Born in Lyon, Kalulu holds dual French and Congolese nationality and has represented the DR Congo national team since 2023. A right winger by trade and right-footed, he is 166 cm.
