About the player
Twelve goals in three seasons from midfield is the return that took Adetunji Rasak Adeshina out of the Serbian SuperLiga and into Austria. He arrived at FK Novi Pazar in December 2022, an 18-year-old from Nigeria placed first in the youth setup, and worked his way into the senior squad. By the time he left he had made 70 appearances, 66 of them in the league.
LASK Linz paid a fee reported at between €410,000 and close to €500,000 in July 2025 and signed him to a contract running until June 2028. What came next was one appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga and one in the ÖFB-Cup. In June 2026 the club loaned him to NK Slaven Belupo in Croatia for the 2025/26 season, with an option to buy attached.
His grounding came at Real Sapphire FC in Nigeria, the academy he played for until the end of 2022. Adeshina was born in Ibadan and represents Nigeria.
