Silvio Alejandro Martínez

Sixteen appearances for Defensores de Belgrano in the Primera Nacional in 2021 changed the shape of Silvio Alejandro Martínez's career. The goals he scored at Defensores brought a loan to Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero later that year, and in February 2022 the club paid roughly €306,000 for half of his rights.

Martínez played close to forty matches and scored eight goals, and by January 2023 Club Tijuana had paid around €2.84 million to take him to Liga MX. A season there produced three goals in just over thirty games. He returned to Argentina in February 2024, joining Talleres de Córdoba for a reported €2.78 million.

Talleres is where the momentum stalled. He made between twenty-five and thirty appearances, scored a handful of goals, and was sent to Brazil on loan in 2025 — first to Ceará, where he was part of the squad that won the Campeonato Cearense, then to Cuiabá in Série B, where seventeen matches brought two goals.

In January 2026 he moved again, joining Huracán on loan from Talleres until the end of December. The move has yet to produce a goal. His experience outside Argentina's domestic game runs through club competition — the Copa Libertadores and the Leagues Cup — rather than international football; he has never been called up by Argentina at any level, senior or youth, and holds no individual awards.
