Tomás Verón Lupi

Tomás Verón Lupi joined Quilmes' academy at 13 and made his first-team debut against Platense in September 2018, a match his side won 2-1. He spent four seasons with the club, though first-team opportunities were scarce — six appearances in total across the Primera B Nacional — and in 2021 he was part of the squad that earned promotion to the top flight of Argentine football.

A loan move to Uruguay's Racing Club in February 2022 changed the course of his career. He won the Segunda División title that year, and by 2023 had become a regular starter, playing 35 league matches and scoring seven goals. Racing later paid a confirmed fee to sign him outright. The move across the river turned a fringe player at Quilmes into a first-choice winger in Uruguay.

His form at Racing earned a switch to European football, with Grasshopper Club Zürich taking him on loan in 2024. That spell ran through to mid-2025, after which he returned to South American football on 1 January 2026, joining Nacional on loan from Grasshopper until the end of the year.

At Nacional, wearing number 27, Verón Lupi has established himself as a key figure under coach Jadson Vieira. He has represented Argentina at youth level, turning out for the U15, U19 and U20 sides, though a senior call-up has not followed.
