About the player
For much of his time at Inđija, Aleksa Kuljanin's day did not end when training did. Short of minutes in the first team, he worked shifts as a waiter in a café and gaming club from four in the afternoon until midnight, then went back to training the next morning. When Serbian outlets picked the story up, it travelled well beyond Inđija.
He started in the village of Straža, then moved through the age groups at Loznica until 2020. That summer Partizan signed him on a free transfer. He spent a single season there, splitting it between the youth side and a loan at 1. Maj Ruma, and left in 2021.
Inđija took him for their youth team, where he scored 45 goals. A loan to Sloven Ruma in 2023/24 gave him his first sustained run in senior football. He returned for 2024/25 and finally became a regular in the Serbian First League: 31 matches, eight goals, three assists.
In July 2025, with Železničar Pančevo newly promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga, he joined as a free agent and went straight into the side. Twenty-five appearances followed in his first top-flight season, with one goal and six assists — and that goal was Železničar's first in the SuperLiga that season.
He is still at the club going into 2026/27, with four league matches and two in Conference League qualifying behind him.
