About the player
He began at CSKA Sofia , where he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2015/16 . Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Slavia Sofia, Neftochimic Burgas, then a season in Poland with Stal Mielec. In 2019 he crossed into Albanian football with Flamurtari before a spell in North Macedonia, turning out for Brera Strumica and Pandev's academy side.
Granchov returned to Bulgaria in 2020. Second Division titles followed with two different clubs — CSKA 1948 Sofia in 2022/23, when he also reached the Bulgarian Cup final, and then Spartak Varna a year later. He joined Varna as a free agent in 2023 and has largely stayed there since, save for a brief switch to Fratria in 2025 that lasted only a few months before he returned to Spartak that July.
Internationally, his involvement stopped at youth level: a single cap for Bulgaria's under-19s and five appearances for the under-21s, without a call-up to the senior national side.
