About the player
Javor Ivanjica have had Boubacari Doucouré twice, and the second spell has lasted. He arrived first on loan in the second half of the 2020–21 season, played 18 matches and went back to FC Chambly Oise at the end of June 2021. He returned on a free transfer on 27 July 2022, and since then he has played for the club with nine league goals.
The route into professional football ran through three youth clubs in France — Genay, Bord de Saône and Villefranche — before Chambly took him into their senior setup in 2017. He signed his first professional contract on 8 June 2020 and made his Ligue 2 debut that October, but across five years at the club he managed only around 20 senior appearances in all competitions and did not score.
The move to Serbia became permanent in January 2022, when he joined FK TSC. That stay was short: seven league matches and one in the Serbian Cup across the 2021–22 season, no goals. Six months later he was back at Javor.
Doucouré plays as a defensive midfielder and has held a regular starting place since rejoining. His record carries no league titles, no cups and no individual awards — it shows continuity in the Serbian SuperLiga at a club that went down in 2020–21. He holds French nationality and has spoken of an interest in representing Mali, where his heritage lies; he has yet to be capped by either country. His contract at Javor runs to 31 December 2026.
