Javor

Nemanja Miletić wore the captain's armband when Javor Ivanjica reached the final of the Serbian Cup in 2016, a run that ended 0-2 to Partizan in Belgrade. The Serbia international had joined the club in 2013, left, and came back in 2022.

The club traces itself to 1912, when a student named Milan Radojević brought the town of Ivanjica its first football. Supporters still call the side Javorci , and they play in red and white at Stadion kraj Moravice, a 3,000-seat ground by the Moravica river.

Promotion and relegation have shaped the club's history more than silverware. Javor reached the Serbian top flight for the first time in 2002-03 and went straight back down, finishing 15th. A second promotion in 2005-06 lasted no longer. The turnaround came in 2007-08, when coach Radovan Ćurčić took the team through an entire Second League season unbeaten — the club's second West Group title, after 2001-02 — and back into the top division. That return held: Javor finished fourth in 2008-09, its best league placing. Mirko Vuličević, a Serbia international centre-back, was one of the fixtures of that side, staying at the club from 2004 to 2009.

Javor's rivalry runs west, to Mladost Lučani, some 60 km away.
