About the player
Eight goals in 22 matches is Bjarki Hauksson managed on loan at KFG Garðabær in the 2. deild karla between April 2024 and January 2025. He had come up through Stjarnan's youth ranks from 2017, moving through the U12, U14, U16 and U19 sides before making his senior debut for the club in 2023.
He returned to Stjarnan in January 2025 and settled into the starting side in the top flight, adding appearances in UEFA Conference League qualifying.
Iceland have called on him at youth level. He picked up a single cap at U17/U18 in 2023, then nine for the U19s across 2024 and 2025, a run that took in qualifying for the UEFA U19 European Championship.
He has yet to win a senior title or an individual award.
