About the player
Brahian Cuello was presented as a signing for Unión on 22 January, scoring against Sarmiento in February 2026.
Cuello started out in the academy of San Martín de Merlo, before moving into the youth system at Estudiantes de San Luis. He was included in the first-team squad in 2016 and made his professional debut in the Primera B Nacional, going on to make 85 appearances for the club over four seasons and scoring nine goals.
He left as a free agent for Almagro in 2020, adding 37 appearances and six goals across two seasons, then moved on the same terms to Defensa y Justicia in 2022, where he featured in the Copa de la Liga, the Copa Argentina and the Copa Sudamericana without scoring. A move to Instituto followed in 2023; his first goal for the Córdoba club came against Atlético Tucumán in January 2024, part of a two-season spell in which he made 64 appearances before leaving for Delfín in Ecuador in 2025, where he scored twice in 33 matches.
