About the player
Standing 197cm tall, Bruno Baio has spent little of his career settled anywhere for long. The forward came through the youth ranks at Internacional and made his first-team debut there in 2015, before a loan to Criciúma the following year set him on a path through smaller Brazilian sides at Votuporanguense and Boa Esporte.
His most productive spell came in South Korea. At Jeonnam Dragons in K League 2, Bruno Baio scored 10 goals in 16 appearances. After returning to Brazil he turned out for Ypiranga and Retrô, then took his game to Italy with Akragas before a second Brazilian stop at Sampaio Corrêa.
The forward has since taken his career further afield still, playing in the United Arab Emirates for Emirates Club and in Thailand for Uthai Thani. He joined Nanjing City on a free transfer. He has not been capped by Brazil at senior level.
