About the player
Codruț Sandu came up through three of Bucharest's biggest academies.
Still on Rapid's books, he was loaned to FCU Craiova 1948 and played 24 matches, keeping eight clean sheets along the way. In 2025 he returned to Dinamo București as a free agent, only to be sent straight back out on loan, this time to Corvinul Hunedoara .
At international level, he has represented Romania at Under-20 level, with six caps to his name. He has not featured for the senior national team.
