Denis Lucian Hrezdac

Denis Hrezdac came through the academy at Vulturii Lugoj before moving into UTA Arad's youth ranks and signing his first professional contract with the club in July 2017. He made his senior debut in Liga II on 20 October 2018, against Energeticianul, and was part of the UTA Arad squad that won the Liga II title in the 2019/20 season, securing promotion.

His development since then has run largely through loan spells away from Arad. He spent time on loan at Progresul Pecica before joining Corvinul Hunedoara, first on loan in 2021 and again for the 2023/24 campaign. It was at Corvinul that he picked up the biggest honour of his career so far: a Cupa României winner's medal in 2023/24. The same club reached the final of the Supercupa României in 2024, though they came up short there.

Internationally, Hrezdac has represented Romania at under-18 level, though his appearances at that age group were limited. He has not featured for the senior national team.

In January 2026, with his loan spells behind him, he committed his future to UTA Arad by signing a contract extension through June 2028, a deal that also came with a significant rise in salary. Operating as a central defensive midfielder, he now returns to the club that developed him with a Cup winner's medal and a top-flight promotion already on his record.
