About the player
Ferreira was on the pitch when River Plate lifted the Copa Libertadores in 2018, an appearance in the final that came barely a year after his debut for the club on 29 October 2017.
What followed was a run of loans. Colón took him in 2021 and he played 21 matches, scoring three. Then Newell's Old Boys for 2022 and 2023, a $200,000 loan with a $2 million purchase option, where he made 40 appearances and scored four. In 2024 he moved on loan to San Lorenzo , this time for free with an option to buy, and scored three goals in 14 matches wearing number 18.
The permanent move came in September 2024, when Argentinos Juniors paid $700,000 for 50% of his rights.
Argentina called him up at under-20 level, where he played twice and scored once, and he was part of the squad at the 2019 World Cup. He has not appeared for the senior national side.
In July 2026 Ferreira left Argentina for the first time, signing for Académico de Viseu in Portugal, where he took the number 30 shirt. He was born in Córdoba on 12 September 1999 and joined River's system in 2017 — the club he came through remains the one that gave him his trophies.
