About the player
Daan Huisman came through the Vitesse academy, appearing 60 times across all competitions and scoring three goals before his contract ran out in the summer of 2024 and he left as a free agent. He was loaned to VVV-Venlo, where he scored five times in 37 matches, and to Haugesund in Norway, where he made ten Eliteserien appearances and scored a goal.
He signed for FC Eindhoven in August 2024, taking part in 72 matches across all competitions and scoring six goals, including strikes in both the league and the Dutch Cup. He left the club in the summer of 2026, moving to FC Volendam as a free agent, where he now wears the number 8 shirt.
Huisman also represented the Netherlands at youth level, with an appearance for the under-16s in 2018 and two caps for the under-17s the following year.
