Dmitri Vasiljev

The loan that gave Dmitri Vasiljev his longest run of senior football came in July 2025, when Zenit sent the midfielder to PFC Sochi for the 2025–26 season. He made 25 appearances there and scored twice. Club sources list him at Sochi in shirt number 87.

He came through the Zenit Saint Petersburg academy and started his senior career in the reserves, with three appearances for Zenit-2 in 2021–2022. In February 2022 he was loaned to Orenburg, where he played five times for the senior side and five for Orenburg-2 before returning to Zenit that December.

His debut for the Zenit first team followed in 2023, the year the club won the Russian Super Cup. He was part of the squad that took the Russian Premier League and the Russian Cup in 2023–24, and the Premier League again in 2024–25. Squad membership, though, is not the same as regular minutes.

Russia have used him steadily through the youth ranks: six caps at under-15 and six more at under-16 in 2019, five at under-18 in 2021, then two at under-23 in 2023, along with appearances for the under-21 side across 2023 and 2024. He has not been capped by the senior national team.

Right-footed, he has yet to collect an individual award.
