About the player
On 10 May 2026 Bolotov scored in the 23rd minute against Krylia Sovetov, and the goal settled a 1-0 win. He was named man of the match. Three months later, on 9 August 2026, he took the award again in a 1-1 draw with Rubin Kazan.
Bolotov joined the FC Orenburg academy as a child and came up through the U-19 side, where records of his appearances go back to the 2018/2019 season. He made his senior debut for Orenburg in 2019/2020, in the First League.
What followed was several years spent elsewhere. In January 2022 he was loaned to Forte Taganrog in the Second League, and in July that year he moved on loan to FC Tyumen. Tyumen started him in the Second League, then went up to the First League, and he stayed through the 2023/2024 season — a loan that ran until June 2024.
The permanent move came that same month, to Rotor Volgograd, on a "1+1" contract with the fee undisclosed. He played 31 matches for Rotor in 2024/2025 and scored once. When the contract expired in June 2025 he was a free agent, and on 5 July 2025 he signed for Orenburg again, this time until 30 June 2028.
He is a central or defensive midfielder, right-footed, and wears 57. He has no senior or youth caps for Russia.
