About the player
Erald Maksuti left Shkodër with his family as a child, joining youth academies in Greece before returning to Albanian football through Brianas' academy. His senior career began at Apollonia in Fier, where he stayed five years and scored 22 goals in 83 appearances, establishing himself as a forward capable of playing centrally or from the left.
In July 2025, Maksuti moved to Flamurtari in Vlorë, where his form accelerated sharply: 12 goals and three assists in 34 matches in a single season. That output prompted a move abroad. On 25 May 2026, Akhmat Grozny signed him on a four-year contract for a reported €700,000.
Maksuti made his Akhmat debut on 26 July 2026 against Lokomotiv, a match that finished 1:1. He scored the equaliser in the 78th minute.
