Fernando Javier Saucedo Pereyra

Bolívar won the Bolivian title in December 2024, and Fernando Saucedo was not on the pitch for the deciding matches against San Antonio Bulo Bulo on 22–23 December. He had contributed to the campaign before that — seven goals and three assists across all competitions in 2024 — but the final belonged to Ramiro Vaca and Fabio Gómez.

Saucedo came through at Oriente Petrolero and made his debut at 17. He stayed until 2014, playing 131 matches and scoring eight goals, and picked up his first championship there in the Clausura of 2010. A single season at Guabirá in 2015 brought 16 appearances and four goals.

He left in 2019 for Always Ready, where he made 47 league appearances, then spent two seasons at The Strongest — 39 matches, five goals — before joining Bolívar in 2023.

His international career started late. The one goal he has scored for Bolivia came on 2 September 2021, against Colombia in World Cup qualifying. He was called up in May 2024 for a friendly with Mexico, then named in the squad for the Copa América, where he played against the United States on 23 June and against Panama on 1 July, a 1–3 defeat. That remains his most recent match for the national side, the 26th of his career.

In February 2025 he returned to Always Ready. He scored for the club the following month.
