About the player
Felix Albers came through Viktoria Köln's own academy rather than arriving from elsewhere. He joined the club's youth setup at under-12 level in 2018, having started out at SV Schlebusch, and worked through every age group up to the under-19 side. Between 2023 and 2026 he made 67 appearances in the Under-19 Bundesliga, the stage where he did the bulk of his development.
In June 2026 Viktoria Köln rewarded that progression with his first professional contract, tying him to the club until 30 June 2028. Because he is a product of the academy rather than a signing, no transfer fee featured in any part of his career to date. His breakthrough into the senior side followed quickly: he made his first-team debut in 2026, going on to play eight matches in the 3. Liga and featuring in the Landespokal as well. The 2026/27 season proved harder going, with Albers mostly limited to a place on the bench as he adjusted to the step up.
Albers stands 178cm and plays for a Viktoria Köln side competing in Germany's 3. Liga.
