About the player
Tobias Eisenhuth came through the youth ranks at Union Bestensee, Eintracht Miersdorf/Zeuthen and 1. FC Frankfurt before joining the Energie Cottbus academy in 2015. He made his senior debut for the club in the Regionalliga Nordost in 2019 and went on to make 101 appearances, scoring seven goals. His breakthrough season included a DFB-Pokal debut against FC Bayern München at the age of 18, a game that drew reported interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
With Cottbus, Eisenhuth won the Brandenburgischer Landespokal in 2022 and 2023 and lifted the Regionalliga Nordost title in 2023, though the club then fell short in the promotion playoff against SpVgg Unterhaching. That summer he moved on a free transfer to SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 3. Liga, making 27 appearances and scoring once during his time there.
In January 2025, Eisenhuth terminated his contract with Regensburg and joined FC Viktoria Köln. He settled quickly into the side, and by the end of the 2024/25 season had helped the club win the Mittelrheinpokal, beating Alemannia Aachen 3:2 in the final. Since arriving at Viktoria Köln he has made 49 appearances and scored one goal.
Eisenhuth has also represented Germany at youth level, earning two caps for the U19 national team in 2019.
