About the player
Felipe Vieira Cardoso came through the Vila Nova youth academy in Goiânia before leaving Brazil for European football. At STK Šamorín, signed as a free agent, he netted 10 goals in 57 appearances.
That form carried over to Latvia. At FK Liepāja he added 7 goals in 23 matches.
Karpaty paid €250,000 for Cardoso in July 2026, signing him to a four-year contract with an extension option. He wears the number 7 shirt at the Lviv club. Three Ukrainian Premier League appearances into his spell, he already has 2 goals, with a further outing in the Europa Conference League.
