About the player
Fredi Silvero is a forward developed entirely within the Cerro Porteño academy, and it was that youth pedigree that carried him into the club's senior squad in 2025. He made his first-team debut that year, featuring in both the Copa de Primera and the Primera División Clausura, with appearances against Sportivo Luqueño in July and Sportivo Trinidense in August. His involvement was limited to two Copa de Primera appearances without a goal or an assist, but he was part of the Cerro Porteño squad that won the 2025 Paraguayan Championship.
In July 2026, Silvero moved to Club Sportivo 2 de Mayo on loan, a switch agreed without any transfer fee attached and set to run through the end of the year. By September 2026 he had made three Copa de Primera appearances for his new club.
At 186 cm, Silvero has the physical profile clubs look for in a modern forward.
