About the player
Guus Beaumont came through the FC Groningen academy, where he won the Dutch under-17 title with the club's youth setup in 2019, before Almere City took him on in 2020. He captained Jong Almere City, and it was under him that the reserve side worked its way back into the Tweede Divisie after a four-year absence. The numbers came too: seven goals and fifteen assists in 2024/2025 alone for the reserves.
On 1 July 2024 he signed his first professional contract with Almere City's first team and made his Eredivisie debut that season, with two appearances. The step into senior first-team football at Almere City continued into 2025/2026, when the club played in the Eerste Divisie: six league appearances and an assist, plus one outing in the KNVB Cup.
On 1 July 2026 Beaumont left as a free agent for FC Eindhoven, signing a contract to 30 June 2028.
He has not been capped at any level of the Dutch youth or senior set-up.
