Georgi Melkadze

Georgi Melkadze came through Moscow's academy system before making his way to Spartak Moscow, where he had progressed through the youth ranks by 2014 and made his first-team debut in May 2015.

The next stage of his career took shape away from Moscow. A loan spell at Tosno produced the biggest medal of his career so far: a Russian Cup win. He later moved to Tambov, where he scored his first goals in the Russian Premier League, before a loan at Akhmat Grozny gave him regular first-team football, with three goals in 24 appearances. A permanent switch to Sochi followed in 2022, and he stayed there for two years before the contract was terminated. He then spent a spell in Georgia with Kolheti-1913 before returning to Akhmat on a free transfer at the start of 2025, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal.

His time at Sochi also brought a Russian Premier League runners-up medal.

Internationally, he represented Russia at various youth levels between 2012 and 2018. He was called up to the senior national team and made his debut in a friendly against Nicaragua.
