Guilherme Liberato Tomás de Aquino

The busiest season of Guilherme Liberato's career has come in Portugal's second tier. Loaned to Torreense in September 2025 on a deal running to 30 June 2026, he made 21 appearances in Liga Portugal 2 in 2025/26, picking up five yellow cards and a red, and played six matches in the Taça de Portugal. Two Primeira Liga outings came in the same period.

The route there ran through the academies of São Paulo. He was in Cruzeiro's system in 2018 and 2019, then spent 2020 and 2021 with the Juventus-SP youth side, playing in the Copa São Paulo de Juniores. Botafogo signed him in 2021 and he made 25 first-team appearances there, scoring once. The club did not renew his contract in December 2022.

What followed was a run of short stays. Liberato joined Bangu at the start of 2023, went on loan to Santo André in April and stayed until September. He returned to Bangu, then was loaned back to Juventus-SP from April to July 2024.

The move to Europe came as a free agent. On 1 July 2024 he signed for Moreirense on a four-year contract to June 2028, with no fee disclosed. Minutes were scarce: five Primeira Liga matches across the 2024/25 season.

A right-footed midfielder, he has not been capped by Brazil.
