About the player
Eleven years passed between Ignacio Campo walking into Huracán's inferiores at the age of nine and the day he was handed a debut in the Liga Profesional Argentina. He signed his first professional contract in November 2025 and made his debut on 21 February 2026, in a goalless draw with Deportivo Riestra.
The years in between were spent in the club's youth categories, where he wore the captain's armband at several age groups, including the Reserve team. There was also a spell away on loan at Boca Juniors before he returned to Huracán, an episode noted later in the Argentine press without the dates being set out.
