About the player
Sebastián Meza's first senior appearance for Huracán came on 1 March 2021, with first-choice goalkeeper Facundo Cambeses out with a hand injury. Meza started against Atlético Tucumán in the Copa de la Liga Profesional. The match was abandoned.
He had arrived at the club three years earlier, in 2018, from Ex Alumnos Escuela N°185 de Oberá, the club of his home town. His first professional contract was signed on 6 March 2020 and ran to June 2023. That deal was extended before it expired — to the end of 2024 in December 2020 — and twice more since: to the end of 2026 in April 2024, and to the end of the 2027 season in March 2025.
Meza joined Sarmiento de Junín on loan on 30 May 2022, on terms running to 30 June 2023 and including a purchase option. He made 48 appearances for the club. The option was not taken up, and he returned to Huracán in July 2023.
As of July 2026 he had made 22 league appearances for the club. He has not been capped by the senior Argentina side, and has won no titles or individual awards at club level.
