J. Eikrem

Jesper Nerhus Eikrem got his first taste of first-team football at Brann in the Norwegian Cup, coming off the bench against Frøya in May 2023 while still a teenager. It took two more years before the club made it official: in August 2025, he signed his first professional contract.

The path there ran through Brann 2 , where between 2023 and 2025 Eikrem built a scoring record. He arrived at Brann's academy in 2021 after coming through the youth ranks at Fyllingsdalen.

Progress at senior level has been gradual rather than immediate. His first-team involvement with Brann remains limited to substitute appearances, and in 2026 the club sent him out on loan to Åsane to get regular minutes, first for a short spell in the spring and then for a longer run through to the end of the year in the Obos-ligaen.

Norway's youth set-up has followed him closely. At Under-17 level he scored four goals in 11 appearances, including during the 2024 European Championship for the age group, before stepping up to the Under-18s and then the Under-19s. A senior call-up has not yet followed. Domestically, he was part of the Brann Under-19 squad that won the national championship for the age group in 2025.
