About the player
Jack Fitzwater spent five years on West Bromwich Albion's books without ever making a first-team appearance for the club.
His time in the West Brom academy did bring some recognition — he was named the club's academy player of the year for the 2014/15 season — but converting that promise into first-team football at the Hawthorns never happened.
The move that properly established him came in 2020, when he signed for Livingston in Scotland. Three seasons there produced 107 appearances and 8 goals in all competitions. He added appearances in the Scottish Cup and League Cup too, figures that mark out the Livingston years as the most productive stretch of his career so far.
In September 2023, Fitzwater returned to English football with Exeter City . He has yet to add a team trophy to his record at any of his clubs.
