Jesper Tilmans

Jesper Tielemans made the step up from FC Volendam's youth ranks to the first team in June 2025, a fortnight before the switch, on 7 May 2025, Volendam tore up his existing youth deal and signed him to a new contract running to 30 June 2028.

The promotion followed a run of form in the club's junior sides. In the 2023/2024 season, playing for Volendam's under-18s in the KNVB Beker youth cup, Tielemans finished as the team's top scorer with four goals, including a penalty against AZ and the only goal of the game against PEC Zwolle, results that carried the side through to the semi-final. A year later, turned out for the under-19s, and struck twice against Vitesse's under-19 side in a 2-2 draw in June 2025, with the second goal coming in the 93rd minute to salvage a point.

Since establishing himself with the first team, Tielemans has featured for Volendam in the Eerste Divisie, the Netherlands' second tier.

A right-footed forward, he came through spells at Fortuna Wormerveer and Reiger Boys before joining Volendam's academy in 2019.
