Yonghao Jin

Jin Yonghao grew up in Yanbian, in Jilin province, and came through local football there, moving between Yanbian Beiguo's youth ranks, Yanbian Hailanjiang and the Yanbian Sports School before leaving China altogether at 18. In July 2021 he joined Racing Rioja CF in Spain, a move that took him through three seasons of Segunda Federación and Tercera Federación football. He split his time between the B team and the first team, making 32 and 55 appearances respectively and scoring 11 goals across the two sides.

He returned to China in July 2024, signing for Qingdao Hainiu, then still known as Qingdao Jonoon, on a free transfer through to the end of 2026. Since then he has established himself in the Chinese Super League, making 33 league appearances and scoring once. He plays as an attacking midfielder or left winger, favouring his right foot despite the wide role.

Jin is of Korean Chinese ethnicity, reflecting the Yanbian region he grew up in. His development has also drawn interest from the national set-up: he trained with the China under-22 squad in May and July 2025, and by 2026 had made an appearance for the under-23 side. Across his career to date, spanning his Spanish and Chinese spells, he has passed 120 appearances with 12 goals in total.
