Senwen Luo

Luo Senwen's career has followed the trajectory of China's shifting football fortunes. He came through Shandong Luneng Taishan, making his senior debut in 2012 after loan spells that took him as far as the youth side of the club itself, then to Chengdu Tiancheng and Hebei China Fortune. A permanent move to Hebei FC in December 2015 kept him there for six seasons, interrupted by a loan to Chongqing Dangdai Lifan in 2019.

The turning point came in 2021, when he joined Wuhan Three Towns on loan and helped the club win the China League One title, securing promotion to the Chinese Super League. He made the move permanent the following year and stayed on for the club's 2022 Chinese Super League championship and its 2023 Chinese FA Super Cup victory, giving him two major honours in successive seasons with the same team. In January 2025 he signed for Qingdao Hainiu, known previously as Qingdao Jonoon, as a free agent.

Internationally, Luo represented China at youth level, appearing 15 times and scoring 4 goals for the under-20 side between 2010 and 2012, then adding 11 caps and 3 goals for the under-23 team. He has not been capped at senior international level.

He now wears the number 31 shirt at Qingdao. His career has been built less on a single defining moment than on steady contribution at clubs experiencing their own rises — most notably at Wuhan Three Towns, where he arrived on loan and stayed to collect silverware.
